About ISBB 2026
The International Symposium on Boron, Borides and Related Materials (ISBB) is one of the most prominent global events dedicated to the science and technology of boron-based materials. Since its inception, the symposium has provided a unique platform for scientists, engineers, and industry experts to exchange ideas, present new findings, and foster international collaborations in the field of boron chemistry and materials research.
The 23rd edition, ISBB 2026, will be hosted by the University of California, Riverside (UCR), USA, from 6 to 10 September 2026. The symposium will cover recent experimental and theoretical progress in the synthesis, structure, and properties of boron, borides, and related compounds. Special attention will be given to emerging applications in areas such as catalysis, energy storage, lightweight structural materials, superconductivity, and nanotechnology.
Through invited lectures, oral and poster presentations, and networking sessions, ISBB 2026 aims to strengthen the global boron research community and promote interdisciplinary collaboration across chemistry, physics, materials science, and engineering.
We look forward to welcoming you to Riverside, California, for an inspiring and engaging scientific event!
